Nothing like a tough loss to deflate all the positive vibes from a strong preseason and impressive opening win. The Lions hit the road and the road hit back, as Arizona overcame a lengthy Lions lead and beat Detroit 25-21 on Sunday. (more…)

Of all the things we could take away from the Lions preseason drubbing of the Patriots, it’s that this rookie class could have a huge impact this season…for better or worse.  The Lions have been less apprehensive getting their rookies some work this preseason than what we’ve been accustomed to, and the returns are mostly positive so far.  Today we’re going to take a look at how the rookies fared in the team’s third preseason contest. BCS National Championship Scouting Review

If you watched the game, you know it was painfully one-sided. I watched it twice tonight thanks to the wonder of DVR and using commercial breaks and halftime to review prior drives.
