Shrine Week Notes Day 3

With a calm wind and decent temperature the evaluators and scouts were in for a great day of viewership at the east and west practices. To start the day the East practice starts with some light drills followed by my favorite the 1 on 1′s with Defensive Backs and Wide Receivers. It was than followed by a lot of special teams drills which drew loud roaring yawns. (more…)


Notes from Shrine Game Day 1 and 2

Day 1 and Day 2 have commenced and plenty of small things with many of these players stand out. The conditions were very difficult for the participants on Monday and it was incredibly difficult for evolutional purposes.  The surface was wet and slick which caused many difficulties for quarterbacks, defensive backs, and wide receivers. It is apparent that a lot of the skill positions struggled because of the surfaces on day 1 but day 2 was a completely  different story. With the sun in the sky and a calm breeze the conditions were much more bearable.  With stories of Josh Shaw, Darren Waller, and Daryl Waud, there are plenty of intriguing prospects and stories.
