It’s April 15. For most of America that means Tax Day, but for the NFL community it means 10 days until the draft. A few trades are sprinkled in here, along with a few curveballs that show how one change at the top can dramatically shake things up from the presumed status quo.

It’s no secret: the Lions need a pass rusher or two in this draft. Because the defense seldom blitzes, that means defensive ends. I think we will see less of the Wide 9 technique, but any Lions DE must have the ability to play from that alignment. That means speed and the ability to flatten around the edge. Here is an option for each Lions pick in the draft. These players should realistically remain available for the Lions when they pick.
