The path to the NFL is different for every player. Not every player has the easy road that Matt Barkley, the #1 QB prospect coming out of high school, who went directly to USC and then directly to the Philadelphia Eagles, had. Much more common is the path of a player like Charles Johnson (or CJ as he likes to be called), who has taken quite the winding road in his journey to an NFL roster. (more…)

Selections received by round:
3rd: Texans and Titans
4th: Ravens, Lions, and Packers
5th: Falcons, Ravens, and 49ers
6th: Ravens (x2), Panthers (x2), Raiders (x2), Texans (x3), Browns, Giants, Titans
7th: Cardinals, Falcons, Bengals, Packers, Dolphins, Eagles, Steelers, and Titans
End of the 7th because of record: Chiefs, Jaguars, Raiders, and Eagles.

Monday, December 10th, 2012

by Jeff Risdon, Twitter @JeffRisdon

Another year, another trip to Wisconsin, another loss. This one was predictable but still painful, as the Lions thoroughly dominated the first half but failed to put enough distance on the Packers. Green Bay found its bearings and capitalized on Lions errors to pull away for the 27-20 win.
